Name it.
Write the thing plainly: “I want to visit that lighthouse,” “I want to learn basic guitar,” “I want to take my wife to that restaurant.”

Do not redesign your entire life this morning. Choose one idea you keep postponing and make the next step so small it feels almost silly not to do it.
A simple framework
Write the thing plainly: “I want to visit that lighthouse,” “I want to learn basic guitar,” “I want to take my wife to that restaurant.”
Find the version you can do soon: save the place, watch one lesson, book the table, send the message, block the calendar.
Make it easier to do than avoid. Pack the bag. Put the address in your map. Invite the person. Buy the small supply.
“Soon” is where dreams go to nap. Pick a day, even if the first step is tiny.
Take a photo. Write a note. Save what surprised you. This makes the next someday easier.
Momentum is built by becoming the kind of person who acts on the list.
